Ahhhh, the question that every person who comes to NYC asks.  While New York is known for their pizza one must be very careful not to fall into the trap of grabbing any old slice and considering that true New Yawk pizza.

If you are looking for the best pizza I would head to John's Pizzeria on Bleecker street.  This is considered the second fully functional pizza place ever in New York.  Thin crust, perfect sauce, and that old New York feel.   The only drawback is they do not sell by the slice, but if you are serious about looking for that great pizza experience, I trust you will gladly share a pie with a buddy.
