Recently, Food & Wine named Toronto one of its "food cities to watch," so there are definitely some great spots for all kind of dining.

Ten Feet Tall is a lot of fun if you are into casual dining with a twist (kitschy decor, lamb lollipops, etc.)

For fine dining, Splendido is consistently ranked as one of the top restaurants not only in Canada but in North America as well. 

Rain is supposed to be excellent as well, and serves molecular gastronomy-esque food.

If you have any free time in the evenings, The Century Room is a great nightlife spot as well.
