The term "organic" is thrown around a lot when describing foods and restaurants. With big-name food producers wading into the organic fray, what used to be made up of small farms and collectives has expanded to include almost every restaurant and food stores - even Wal-Mart. The term "organic" proves a strong draw to consumers - so strong that most often we don't quite question the truth behind the term. Nowadays, sometimes the best organic food isn't actually "organic" at all.
There’s been some tension between McDonald’s and Jamba Juice lately.
These two seemingly unrelated franchises became entwined when the
McCafé drink line at McDonald’s debuted two smoothie flavors last month.
McDonald’s test foray into the frozen beverage market has clearly
ruffled the feathers of Jamba Juice executives, who released a fake “Cheeseburger Chill”
smoothie in retaliation.
