• Civil Eats sees links between the mercury found in high fructose corn syrup and autism.

• Georgia peanut processing plant knowingly sold tainted peanut butter and peanut paste multiple times over the past 2 years.  Investigators found 4 strains at the plant including one strain near a bathroom floor.  Delicious.  Now please pass me that Jiffy if you know what's good for you.

• Kraft and Frito-lay buyers admit to accepting hundreds of thousands of dollars in bribes to partake in a scheme to artificially drive up food prices nationwide. Nice.  First there's that "bailed-out" recession that appears to have no end and in the meantime, buyers have been bribed to make food even more expensive in times of a supposed food crisis.  

• Bored with the standard boring fortune cookies filled with lies and unlucky lottery numbers?  Take matters into your own kitchen and make your own.  

• Study shows that wine snobs judges fail to make the grade in scoring wines during blind tastings.  Instead of looking at a series of points, why don't we just score us an aerator to magically turn undrinkable wine into something fabulous?
