The Grill Your EATS challenge hosted by DJ Irie of the Miami Heat showcased some of the brightest culinary stars Miami has to offer in a high-energy grill-off. Judged by local celebrities including Craig Stevens, the lead anchor on Channel 7 news; Simon Cruz, Commissioner of South Beach; and Buster from Y100 radio station, the competition involved participation from over a dozen restaurants such as Smith & Wollensky, Novecento, and David Bouley. Approximately 1000 residents and visitors of South Beach attended the event. Sponsors included: Jack Daniels, Stella Artois, and Moët & Chandon among others.

Raffle proceeds from the event went to the Reach for the Stars Foundation benefiting children with cystic fibrosis.
