G&G for SOTM next week sounds good, though the only days I could do it are Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday. Do all of those days work? This could be BT's last one if he could make any of those days. They have been looking to move to Atlanta and he is accepting an offer that will have them down there at some point in October.
Reply from RugbyD:
Tuesday or Wednesday works. Thursday likely out b/c I doubt Lorraine can make it. We will be extending an invite to Blake and also potentially entertaining a special guest of mine who's visiting home for a bit on break from driving C-17s all over the globe.

What is this beard thing?
Reply from RugbyD:
temporary. long story short it started at work with a moustache growing contest that never was. Figured I'd give them a show anyways and save meself some annoying shaving in the process. growing thru 8/21 when it gets the fumanchu treatment for vegas, then moustache for work on the 25th, then off.

For special event, one possibility could be a Hiss visit in August, my 30th B-day in September, or something else derived from some type of excuse/justification of a special event if all else fails. I'd be down for any of those places you mentioned or almost anything not mentioned.

The fried chicken at Joe's does spark much curiosity. My concern here is if we would be staying true to the corporate strategy of getting out to places we haven't been, or have been to less often in the grand scheme of chicago steak. I'm wondering if Joe's should be earmarked as the site of our next special or invitational event, an honor in its self, and a great excuse to go somewhere we've each been to a few times.

I told Hiss he should fly in for the N9NE meeting in July.

Agreed on 6/5 for the SOTM May make up session. You up for either Morton's or N9NE? I'll vote Morton's but don't have strong feelings either way since I know you have N9NE on your list.

We should organize an outing to Japonais with Brian and Rachel and anyone else. Julie and I have been wanting to go.

You are awesome! Look at all these great restaurants in Chicago. How does Joe's not top your list!
