Marie Callendar's has been in California for many years and exemplifies the casual California lifestyle. They have a wide variety of meals but my favorite is the "Frisco Burger". It is a burger grilled on sourdough bread and it is excellent.
Marie Callender's is also famous for its fresh fruit pies. They have fresh strawberry almost year round and fresh peach in the spring and early summer and my favorite, fresh lollaberry for only about two weeks usually in early June.
