It's always a shock that Yorkside is a favorite pizza spot for Yalies (well, maybe it's the Flex Bucks), but the pizza absolutely pales in comparison to the simple, delicious fare at A-1.

Forget about Pepe's, forget about Sally's, leave your Yale gear at Yorkside... this is hands-down the best pizza in New Haven, a two minute walk or less from Yale's central campus.
The Ukrainian staff can be a little surly at times, especially towards new customers and during peak hours (weekends as the bars and clubs close) but it's never a problem for repeat customers. The awesome pizza will have you coming back again and again.
