Couldn't go to New Haven without stopping at Pepe's. Unfortunately we had to get the food to go, nonetheless though it was a great experience. We had the white clam pie which we tried before leaving. It was a bit salty for my tastes. The Tomato pie with mozzarella I thought was awesome. The Mushroom and pepperoni was a definite do it again.

I love classic tomato an mozzarella pizza, but I've gotta admit the white clam pizza that FP's is known for is out of this world! My only regret is that we took the pizza to go, as the true test of pizza can be done when the pizza is fresh out of the oven. This is a true pizza mecca.

This was the best pizza that I have ever had, bar none. The service is a bit slow, but it is so worth the wait.

The garlic shrimp pie is beyond amazing, and the much loved white clam pie is not to be missed either.
