Good food, good drink, good people. It is the very definition of a pub. Highly recommended.

Do it for the Trivia

Anna Liffey's pub trivia, Tuesday nights, is one of the more fun events happening in New Haven on Tuesdays. It's definitely a fun atmosphere. The food isn't the greatest around; I've had awesome sausages and very over-priced stew, so it's hit or miss. It's definitely a good place to hang out, and the wait staff is friendly and pretty.

The Best Pub at Yale

Drinking a Guinness in Anna Liffey's it's easy to forget that you are 2000 miles across the Atlantic from Ireland. Go to the downstairs bar, grab a pint, and forget that you're in New Haven. (The flat-screen TVs still let you keep tabs on the ballgame, though.)
The food and drinks are great, but the atmosphere is amazing. Grab a pint!
