American,SeafoodJoe's Stone Crab is synonymous with South Florida. The local institution, serving since 1913, represents the humble origins of small-town Miami before the glitz of South Beach. Though the demeanor of the restaurant remains decidedly unpretentious, the pride in the simple seafood offerings is reflected in upscale prices. Joe's is a special occassion spot with an oceanside view best shared with family and friends, but also has a lunch counter where many take the namesake stone crabs home. The fleshy, fresh marine treat, classic seafood offerings, and Joe's signature key lime pie bring Floridians in to celebrate year after year.

A true delicacy!

Talk about satisfaction guaranteed! The crabs (and the bill) are incredible. A must do in Miami....try to hit it with a large group of friends (or clients with a corporate card) in order to split the great variety of entries and dishes Joe?s has to offer.

The Good Kind of Crabs
Reviewed on Thursday, 26 July 2007
You gotta go to this classic, Miami institution for the best crabs outside of Maryland ( I went to UMD so I'm biased). The dining room is grand and classic, but not snooty. Just classy and chill. The food is awesome, every type of person goes here but the wait can be forever b/c they don't take reservations. The food never dissapoints though. The prices are insane though, you gotta share.
