PizzaMiami residents and visitors cram into these tiny, no-frills pizzerias all hours of the night for some of the best Roman-style square slicess this side of the Atlantic. All of the ingredients are fresh and authentic, such as Sicilian anchovies and sweet beef Italian sausage and extra virgin olive oil. These slices are huge and topped with a variety of cheeses, even bleu. The Washington Avenue location is the original, but every eatery in this franchise maintains a high quality. A.R.

It's like a salad, but pizza...

I had a summer internship right next to Lincoln Rd and always needed to grab a quick bite both within walking distance and that wasn't going to break the bank (my internship was unpaid, of course). As both a lover of chicken caesar salad AND pizza (quite an eclectic taste, I know), I was dumbfounded when I saw a chicken caesar pizza slice. It was literally a chicken caesar salad ON TOP of a slice of pizza. It sounds slightly awkward, but was amazing. Pizza Rustica is full of clever little concoctions like that.
