I came here for: Drinks
Where else can you drink great German beer from a boot, see a three piece band perform Elvis songs and eat great food? The crowd is an awesome mix of young, old, parties, dates, ethnic German's and tourists. There is even a dance floor, which is full on weekends. The owner's and staff are wonderful, and every night there is a "Special Occassion". Reservations are recommended, and choose a night when you will have the time to linger after dinner. The live music and people watching are all part of the charm, and you will never be made feel as though the staff is rushing to turn over the table. The food is traditional and wonderful - plain and simple comfort food at it's best, that is always freshly and thoughtfully prepared. Be sure to ask about the daily specials, as they are not to be missed.

What I Ate: Worth the trip for liver dumpling soup and a hot pretzel, although everything on the menu is quite good...
