Vegan/VegetarianThis upscale vegetarian restaurant takes dining to a whole new level. Not only is the service friendly and helpful, but guests are actually encouraged to take their time with their meal to fully enjoy the stimulating experience. With an ever-changing menu, Green Zebra prides itself on offering only the freshest, seasonal ingredients with a focus on beautifully simple surprises. If diners find themselves tempted with too many choices, they can order a five-course tasting menu that highlights selections from the a la carte menu. What makes this even more special is that the tasting menu is not pre-set and varies per person, so that everyone at the table has the opportunity to sample even more dishes. There are a few chicken and fish dishes, but they do not serve any red meat.

what i (and my date) ate...
-Arugula Salad, shaved artichoke, preserved lemon, crostini
-Warm Fingerling Potato Salad, pecan, truffle, sherry vinaigrette
-Thai Spiced Carrot Soup, crispy rice noodles
-Curried Potato Potstickers, cilantro lime sauce, fresh coconut
-Grilled Asparagus, Hudson Valley Camembert Beignets, Truffle
-Crispy Tofu, Thai basil, baby bok, Jasmine rice
-Fried Asian Pear Wontons, caramel coconut sorbet
-Chocolate Layer Cake, peanut butter mousse, banana malt ice cream
um. all i have to say is yum yum yum YUM!!!!!!!!! amazing place for a date, drinks anything vegetarian. the atmosphere is clean and modern without being cold. The menu is seasonal and sustainable. Changes ALL the time. I'd say every few weeks, sometimes more. there isn't anything bad to say about it. amazing beer/wine/full bar. AMAZING staff. i love it here. if it weren't so expensive, i'd eat here every time the menu changed.
every penny is worth it. truly.
