So... soup joint...you'd think we would have had soup...we happened to be out for drinks, and remembered that the soupERbowl now had a liquor license. I had never been in before, ashamed to say. I expected a typical cafe, with nothing too special...I was very wrong. They have completely redone it. Everything is so modern and innovative. The bar is made of all recycled paper, the whole place is very energy and environmentally conscious. They have a great selection of hand chosen wines, spirits, and beers. Their glass ware is perfectly unique. The detail oriented owners even matched their wine glasses to their light fixtures. This very kind couple has so many great ideas for their restaurant. Friday and Saturday nights are chocolate fondue night- perfect with a glass of wine and a date! Beer is a bit more expensive for a pitcher (about $14) but its worth it. On the food end...everything is made there, and daily. The bread-bowls are delicious and also made fresh by the cooks. Spread the word! Go to the SoupERbowl, for drinks, food, or both!
