SteakhousePart of the Tom Colicchio mini-empire, Craftsteak is all about, well...steak. This is for the serious meat eater, with a large selection of wagyu beef and other high-priced items (the prime corn-fed Porterhouse for the table runs at $130). In addition to steak, there are seafood options and plenty of sides as well. After all, mushrooms are Colicchio's favorite food, so it is no surprise to see seven different options.

My brother and I came here for our birthday, and what a birthday it was. The ambiance and service were top notch. The servers were prompt, friendly, yet discrete.
The apps were tasty...i had the shrimp cocktail. Nothing fancy about this...just massive tender shrimp. yee haw. The lobster ham hock tortellini was amazing. the saltiness of the ham with the buttery goodness of lobster was most enjoyable. We plan on making this ourselves at some point, because yes, it was that good.
The main course, fantastic. The whole reason we came here was for the grass fed Oregon ribeye (we are originally from Oregon) and it was cook to perfection. Moist, tender, and pink. Just as a steak should be. The sides were also most enjoyable...side the spinach gratin. the crust on top was painfully salty. i could only tolerate a few servings of it. But aside from that, it was top notch. We were so pleased with it, we even enjoyed conversing with the awkward first date couple next to us.
For desert we opted to try the honey ice cream. It was good. nothing crazy though. def. not worth the price for the amount. but whatever, it was for our birthday.
Another complaint was that our knives were somewhat dull. Despite the tender tender meat, it was still a chore at times to cut a piece off. Oh well.
I'd like to check out a few other steak houses before coming back. But def. will.
