Great way to end the work week, by eating lunch here. When you think of food from the land of Patagonia, you think beef, beans, heavy, cheesy, filling. Gustorganics is every one of these....side heavy. i stuffed myself silly, but was not bogged down by greasy food, or the itis.

Fresh? Check. Healthy? Check. Flavor bombs? Double check. Willing to return?

Check and mate.

Def. worth making a trip.

As someone who strives to eat healthy, but has no time to cook, i desperately search for restaurants that cater to the healthy lifestyle. This place is exactly what i've looked for. The food tastes very good and at the same time is not greasy or oily. I especially enjoyed the empanadas.

I had the pleasure of sitting down with the owner Alberto and discovered that Gusto is the first 100% organic restaurant in new york. Quite a feat by a first time restaurateur and native of Argentina.

Gustorganics is without a doubt the most eco-conscious restaurant I have ever been exposed to, and with food to match. The ingredients are beyond fresh, and portions are meant to nourish, not over-indulge. Dishes are inventive, yet strangely familiar. Accommodating to both carnivores and vegetarians alike.

They recently launched a full organic bar at night, with natural mixers and juices to compliment the light fare.

Alberto has made it a mission to change the way we eat. New Yorkers should be thankful that he decided to start with us!

I'd been wanting to try this spot for a while & finally stopped in on a Wed night for dinner...atmosphere and service are good, and the food was very fresh. The turkey meatballs were delicious. I had wanted a light dinner so the grilled chicken salad was perfect, however if I come back (50/50 chance), I'd order the grilled organic pizza which I saw being served to another table and which looked really good.

Gusto Organics might just be the most pleasant surprise I've ever stumbled upon. On a whim, my brother and I decided to stop on 14th st and 6th ave (conveniently near a Red Mango, no less!) and decided to take a chance on Gusto Organics-- which definitely paid off. Gusto proudly advertises its sustainable/organic/ecologically responsible message all over the restaurant (walls, menus, papers, etc).

The menu is a special find of Argentine food: empanadas, pizzas, pastas, and a selection of meats (especially beef). The atmosphere is relaxing (the service is gracious and lets you linger) and even though Gusto clearly revels a bit too much in its squishy feel good earthy message, the food delivers above and beyond.

My butternut squash risotto was incredibly flavorful and fresh- the fibers of the squash were naturally incorporated, not pulped beyond recognition (in fact, I actually found a squash seed in my rice) melding perfectly with the creamy and piping hot risotto. All of the many specials of the day sounded incredible- Gusto prides itself on seasonal, fresh, and organic ingredients and rightfully so. The portions were just right and the baked goods and juice bar looked great. I can't wait until my next visit to Gusto.
