SpanishNot only is Tia Pol quite the trek west from the nearest subway, it is also cramped and narrow on the inside. However, as soon as the wine starts to flow and one bites into the food, the location and small space simply does not matter. A great spot to go with friends or a date, Tia Pol does tapas justice here. Go with the classics (patatas bravas, etc.) but be sure to try the more inventive creations as well.

best tapas and sangria in nyc
Reviewed on Tuesday, 01 April 2008 — Last updated: Tuesday, 01 April 2008
Sangria and gambas! ...and the jamon croquetas and the patatas bravas and the chorizo. Just keep ordering the small plates if you are still hungry! It is teeny tiny so it is best going with one other person because then you have the best chance of getting sat within 20 minutes...or sooner if you super friendly to the hostess! Everyone is super nice who works there! I love Mondays and Tuesdays at Tia Pol!
Tell us some details
What I Ate: probably everything with some Sangria
