I came here for: Party
Go for the bread (unbelievable), sides, and desserts. The steak is good, but no Peter Luger or Striphouse. The sides however, are sensational, and worth going back to for them alone.

I came here for: Casual meal
Went here for a quick dinner and it was better than anticipated. We got the seafood app, and I ordered the filet. They surprised us b/w the app and the entree with some free popovers. They were amazing. The rest of the meal was delicious as well. The service was also great and very attentive (and they even gave us some free popovers to take home with us!!).

Obviously the cheesy popovers are to die for and they are always hot and steamy when you rip them open. The crispy tops are the best part but I can never resist eating the whole thing and the accompanying sea salt adds the perfect contrast to the almost pastry-like speciality. The chopped vegetabl salad had a nice array of flavors like hearts of palm and olives but wasn't special enough to really enjoy or even remember. The dover sole, somewhat shockingly priced at $45, was admitedly served beautifully fileted in a plentiful portion with delicious lemon pepper sauce that would be great with anything. The filet was cooked exactly as requested and adorably marked with a pink cow-shaped toothpick designating it's medium-rare temperature. The creamed spinach was too salty for me but the hen of the wood mushrooms, named because their shape is said to reflect that of a hen's head, were crispied bundles of minitature mushrooms loaded with flavor. The mashed potatoes, with the help of overzealous amounts of butter and a hint of cheese, had the perfect creamy texture and a crave-worthy, sinful taste. I didn't have time to stick around for dessert although the first time I went here the dessert was my favorite part of the meal; something with peanut butter and marshmallows and things that can't taste bad together no matter what. And did I say that they have popovers?
