Wonderful tapas

Everything we ordered was prepared perfectly. My favorite was the venison with saffron honey, while my boyfriend loved the lamb's tongue. We also had a glass of wine and sherry each from the extensive wine list. The restaurant itself is quite small; the poor servers look like they're playing Twister when navigating the tight space, and the tables are shoved close together, even by New York standards. If you have personal space issues, Casa Mono may not be for you. But if you're looking for impeccably prepared small plates and exquisite flavors, look no further.

What I Ate: Pumpkin and goat cheese croquettes, venison with saffron honey, lamb's tongue with mini aioli, duck hearts with fava beans
