Scuderia is a modern day American interpretation of an Italian Trattoria, serving simple Italian comfort food in a casual, fun, and relaxed setting in the heart of Manhattan’s Greenwich Village. FAN-taste-ic! Scuderia has found the place in my heart (and my stomach) that has gone un-satiated for a long while and I've finally got the monkey off my back. Thank you Scuderia! The food is so fun and light. I had the Chicken liver and beans (I know what you're thinking: "liver? really?") but it's really great. The mussels I've tried to make at home (though I'm a terrible cook but had one of those cravings when I was out of New York), nothing like the ones there. The spicy sausage pizza is the second best sausage I've ever had... (don't ask about the first).
The servers are always looking good and the GM (has a ponytail) is a sweetheart.
You have to have the pizza's as they rival some of the best in the city (not just a pie in the sky, they pull it off).
Also, the panna cotta is so delicous I want to take a bath in it... hmmm... I wonder when they'll have delivery...

I'm so happy that Scuderia opened in time for the nice weather! The food and the service is excellent and the atmosphere is wonderful. I can't stop recommending this place to everyone!
