You are lucky to have a Syracuse Favorite
Reviewed on Monday, 03 November 2008
While I have not visited the NYC version of our darling Dinosaur BBQ - I guarantee that if they are half as good as the Syracuse spot ... then they are as good as it gets. I have had a wide variety of their menu and they have made it so delicious that I love their stylings of food when i generally don't like the same food elsewhere. We are even lucky enough to get Dinosaur BBQ food in our local grocery stores up here.
And if you are lucky enough to visit Syracuse's Dino, be sure to read so sage advice in the bathrooms (not the typical nasty stuff of bathroom scrawl) and BYOPen.

Also, go to Syracuse

Soft, tender, and delicate, the pulled pork, perhaps the hallmark of the Dino's menu, is unbeatable, especially when smothered in their signature bbq sauce. I also recommend the bbq chicken, if you're more into bird than beast.
Check out the location in Syracuse for real atmosphere, with a friendly gang of bikers always hanging out outside. Because apparently bbq is badass.

Hands down the best

Hands down the best in the city....large, flavorful portions at a great price. The pulled pork melts in your mouth, and the mac and cheese are simply devine! Be warned...dropping in without reservations can lead to a 2+ hour wait. call at least 2 days ahead to get the time you want

Down Home in NYC

Brisket, pulled pork & ribs are as ggod as it gets. The sides are terrific, have the salt potatoes, french fries & collard greens that will make you smack someone! The cole slaw & potato salad are straight from the Church picnic and a beer list of 25 microbrews on tap. The chicken wings are really smoked & finished on the grill. The salad dressings are all housemade, have the ranch on the fried green tomatoes. Make a reservation or you will have to wait a long time.

Best Cue in the City!
Reviewed on Thursday, 28 June 2007
Despite being hidden under the Riverside Drive Bridge, the place is consistently filled to capacity with a raucous crowd, many of whom have traveled for miles to experience the best cue New York City has to offer. With original locations in Syracuse and Rochester, Harlem??`??"?s hottest restaurant has been serving up giant portions of mouth-watering wet ribs, pulled pork, brisket and chicken since it opened in 2004. There are also specialty sandwiches, including the pork-sket, which may induce a blissful coma: Texas beef brisket is topped with melted cheese, pickled jalape?f?os, pulled pork and coleslaw. Make sure to try their succulent chicken wings, smothered in one of four types of sauces that vary by flavor and taste.
