Italian,Tapas/Small Plates,Wine BarLike its West Village sibling 'ino, 'inoteca has Italian sandwiches, bruschetta, cheese and plenty of cured meats. It is a great spot for a date, or a reunion of friends—don't miss the wine.

Went to 'inoteca with a group of friends we knew they didn't take reservations but decided that we didn't mind waiting since it was a Friday night and it was a good thing we decided that previous to getting there. We waited for about an hour for a table. This is not the restaurant for big groups of peopole, pefect date spot. The staff was very nice they opened a bottle of wine behind the bar for us but the space was kind of tight. We eventually got out table and a great waiter, he made all of the suggestions for the cheese platter and also suggested the spaghetti squash. Beware of cute Italian waiters after a few glasses of wine :-)
The cheese plate was my favorite the cheeses actaully brought memories of Rome back to me. I am huge wine bar fan and this one is going at the top of my list!!

Great for small or big meals

My favorite thing about inoteca is the restaurant layout--wine bottles surround the dining space and the dark wood tables make the whole room feel warm and welcoming. Choose from a variety of Italian food, including an impressive cheese list and a range of bruschetta toppings (pesto always hits the spot). Definitely don't forget the wine though.
