I came here for: Casual meal
Few places truly deserve a rave review, but the Four Seasons Restaurant earns all the accolades a restaurant can merit. Diners should bow down in praise to Chef Christian Albinīs mouth-watering seasonal cuisine, for he effortlessly combines flavors and texture creating some of the best food New York has to offer. The restaurantīs famous Crispy Long Island Farmhouse duck lives up to its reputation; the skin never renders soggy, and the meat remains moist and tender. The orange essence adds a nice note of flavor rounding out the awesome dish. While I still find myself raving about the duck, the entire meal was an absolute delight. Owner Julian Niccolini, a character unto himself, makes rounds ensuring all of his customers enjoy not only the restaurantīs food but also its environment. Perhaps my favorite aspect of the meal was the monstrous portion of pink puffy cotton candy that emerged from the kitchen in honor of my dadīs birthday. The light and airy sugary treat created the perfect taste for the mealīs end.
