Great Sushi, pre-Meatpacking Spot

I have come here several times, both with a couple friends and several times with larger groups/parties. Every time I have come has been a pleasant experience. First off, this is right in the Gansevoort Hotel, which is a hot spot for locals and tourists alike. It has Plunge (rooftop bar), G Spa Lounge (basement spa lounge), and the Gardens of Ono (outside lounge on backside). So when you are done eating, you have a few choices to continue the night.
One of my favorite things besides the sushi (everything is good) and the talent (and there is tons) is that they carry lucky beer! This is an Aussi beer in the shape of a Buddha. Sounds weird and it's expensive, but some od the best beer I have ever had!

Beautiful Japanese Restaurant

Ono is a really cool restaurant because when you come here you get the total experience. I wouldn't say everything here is very traditional, but it is very unique. I think the unique food is very delicious. The place is absolutely gorgeous and takes you to a totally different place. The place is a little pricey, but it is definitely an experience if you go.
