1 I am a native philadelphian and I have been a pat's-only cheesesteak eater for my entire life. Expect long lines, especially during football season - just make sure you're not wearing a Giant's jersey if you want to get served - but it's definitely worth the wait.
With that said, just make sure you know how to order (there's a huge sign out front describing the protocol) or you'll be coming home empty handed.

Hands down the best EVER. I dont care what anybody else says or thinks. Ginos be damned!
Just make sure you know how to properly order (its posted all over the place on signs) lest you be sent back to "figure out how to order the right way"
Also be prepared for lines that wrap around the building...but dont worry...it moves fast.
